Voiceify is a Mac app for turning speech into finished writing. Hold your shortcut, speak naturally, and polished text is inserted wherever your cursor is — in any app.

Standard dictation types roughly what you say, word for word. Voiceify cleans it up: it removes filler words, fixes punctuation and shapes rambling speech into clear writing you can send.

Voiceify inserts text wherever your cursor is, so it works across the apps you write in — email, chat, editors, browsers and documents.

No. The AI is included in your subscription — there's nothing to sign up for, no keys to paste and no separate usage bill. Install Voiceify, sign in, and start dictating.

Your subscription includes 20,000 polished words a month — roughly two and a half hours of talking, or about 200 emails. Voiceify shows what you have left in Settings → Account and on your dashboard, and your allowance resets at the start of each month. If you need more than that, email support@voiceify.dev and we'll raise your limit.

Voiceify lets you know before you record, and dictation pauses until your allowance resets at the start of the next month — nothing is charged automatically and nothing you've already dictated is lost. Get in touch and we can top you up.

Your audio is sent over an encrypted connection, transcribed and polished, and then discarded. We don't keep your recordings or your text once a dictation completes — we only store your email, your subscription and the word count needed for your monthly allowance. Your dictation history stays on your Mac.

No. Voiceify never trains on your dictation. Transcription runs on OpenAI and polishing on Anthropic through their business APIs, which do not use submitted data for training, and nothing is retained by Voiceify after your text is inserted.

Voiceify supports 15 languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and more — or it can detect your language automatically.

A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 14 or later. Voiceify lives in your menu bar and needs microphone access to hear you, plus macOS Accessibility permission so it can watch for your shortcut and type into other apps. It keeps itself up to date automatically.

Your 7-day free trial is managed through Stripe, so you'll enter card details at checkout but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then and you won't pay anything.
