Privacy Policy

Voiceify provides hosted transcription and polishing as part of your subscription. When you dictate, audio is sent securely to Voiceify servers for processing. We count words processed for monthly usage limits, but we do not store your audio or transcript content on our servers after processing completes.

What stays on your Mac

Dictation history remains local on your device. Custom vocabulary syncs to your account so it is available on Mac and web.

Who processes your dictation

To turn your speech into finished text we use OpenAI for transcription and Anthropic for polishing, via their business APIs. Neither provider uses data submitted through those APIs to train their models, and Voiceify does not train on your data either. No API keys of your own are needed — this processing is part of your subscription.

Account data

We store your email, subscription status, monthly word usage totals, and vocabulary entries you choose to sync. Payments are handled by Stripe. Authentication and account data are managed with Supabase.
